Witness: Our Brothers' Keepers (exhibition)
Creators: Japanese American National Museum, National Museum of American Jewish Military History
Exhibition on Japanese Americans and Jewish Americans in the military during World War II and their participation in the liberation of Nazi extermination camps organized by the Japanese American National Museum (JANM) and the National Museum of American Jewish Military History. Witness debuted in on April 20, 1995, in JANM's Legacy Center Gallery to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Dachau. It closed on August 27, 1995. 
Over the next decade, Witness traveled to three additional venues. In conjunction with the AJA Veterans National Convention, it was on display at the University of Hawaii Commons Gallery, July 4 to 31, 1998.  Next, it went to Washington, D.C., where it was on display at the U.S. Department of State's Diplomatic Lobby from May 19 to July 9, 1999. Finally, it was one of eight exhibitions in the Little Rock, Arkansas, area that were part of the Life Interrupted project, a collaboration between JANM and the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Three of the exhibitions, all on some aspect of the Japanese American military experience , were displayed at the MacArthur Museum of Arkansas Military History, the other two being Beyond the Call of Duty: Honoring the 24 Japanese American Medal of Honor Recipients and Undaunted Courage, Proven Loyalty: Japanese American Soldiers in World War II . It opened in Arkansas on September 24, 2004 and closed on April 1, 2005.
