Many of her books are on aspects of U.S. history, health, or crime. She wrote a prior book on the incarceration,\n    <a class=\"external text offsite\" href=\"https://archive.org/details/lifeinjapaneseam00yanc\" rel=\"nofollow\">\n     <i>\n      Life in a Japanese American Internment Camp\n     </i>\n     ,\n    </a>\n    as part of Lucent's \"The Way People Live\" series, in 1998.\n   </p>\n   <p>\n    <i>\n     The Internment of the Japanese\n    </i>\n    is well researched and contains only minor historical errors or over generalizations.
